Designing an editorial piece that captures the rhythm of life in Lofoten, reflecting its shifting seasons through a careful balance of imagery and pace.
The zine traces the journey of the photographer, Eliot Adams, across the Lofoten islands, beginning with the lingering warmth of late summer and gradually shifting into the stark quiet of winter. This transition mirrors the “battening down of hatches,” unfolding as a visual narrative that draws the reader into the changing light, weather, and atmosphere of the Arctic.

With images at the core, the layout was kept clean and spacious, using full-bleed spreads and thoughtful compositions to create rhythm and let each photo shine. A dedicated hand-numbered page out of 100 adds a personal, tactile touch that celebrates the project's limited-edition nature.
